St Sylvester's 2021 AGM Reports

The Annual General Meeting of St Sylvesters GAA Club took place at 7pm on Sunday 28th November 2021 by virtual meeting, in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation and as provided for by the GAA.

The following business was transacted at the Annual General Meeting:

(a) Adoption of Standing Orders.
(b) Minutes of previous Annual General Meeting.
(c) Consideration of the Annual Report of the Secretary
(d) Consideration of the Financial Statements including the Report of the Auditor(s)
(e) The Chairperson’s Address
(f) Election of Officers and Members of the Executive Committee.
(g) Notices of Motion
(h) Other Business

Documents in respect to (b), (c), (d), (e) above together with reports from the various sections (Adult Male Football, Adult Hurling, Ladies, Facilities, Juvenile, Children’s Officer, Director of coaching, Fundraising, Healthy Clubs, Public Relations Officer) can be found below, All reports have been password protected which is sent by email for members visibility. 

Members are invited and requested to consider the reports provided in advance of the meeting and in accordance with GAA guidance to submit questions on the reports to the secretary at secretary.stsylvesters.dublin@gaa.ie in advance of the meeting.

Nominations were received for the positions of President, Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer,   Registrar, Communications Officer and three ordinary committee members:

Due to two nominations for Chairperson, the election for this position was conducted by means of a Delivered Vote as per GAA guidance.

There were no motions submitted by any member for discussion and consideration by the members at the Annual General Meeting.

Only members who are registered full members of the club on the date of issue of the AGM notice have the right to vote at this general meeting.
