It’s a BIG weekend ahead for our U15 Féile boys and girls teams as they gear up to represent St Sylvester’s on the national stage in the Regional Féile Finals and All-Ireland Finals (respectively) this Saturday. 🟢🔵
Both teams are packing up the buses and heading north — with the boys travelling to Crossmaglen, while the girls head to Owenbeg, Derry — and you can feel the buzz building all week in Broomfield and beyond.

🔵 U15 Boys Football – Crossmaglen Showdown
Our U15A boys, who’ve impressed all season with their skill and teamwork, are primed and ready for their Féile group games:
🕚 11.40am – St Sylvester’s v Greencastle
🕐 1.00pm – Naomh Eoin v St Sylvester’s
🕝 2.20pm – Tyholland v St Sylvester’s
With a solid squad and determined mentors behind them, this group has every chance of making it all the way — if they bring their usual heart and hustle to the pitch.

The girls put in a final sharp session yesterday morning at 9.30am, and the excitement was sky-high. A panel of 25 players from the 2010 and 2011 age groups are heading to Owenbeg, ready to give it everything and savour every second.

⏱ Matches across both venues are short and sharp — just 12 minutes a half — so our Syls teams will need to hit the ground running from the first whistle! With group games kicking off at 11:40, it’ll be all about energy, focus, and fast starts. The top teams from each group advance to the regional semi-finals later that afternoon — with a 5pm throw-in for the finals in both competitions (fingers and toes firmly crossed 🤞💙💚
