A CLUB FOR ALL SEASONS 

St. Sylvester’s GAA Development Ballot – Outcome

Following the recent engagement process on our playing facilities development plan, we can confirm that these proposals have now been overwhelming approved by our membership.

We would like to thank all those who participated in this process which will now become our development plan for the years ahead.

This plan will see the full development of a Sporting Complex in Broomfield to cater for our growing number of players across the whole club. This plan also solidifies our presence in Malahide Castle Demesne covering both Bridgefield and Front of Castle.

Given the size and ambition of this plan, we are reaching out to our membership base seeking volunteers who can help finalise the plans for Broomfield and deliver all aspects of the final programme.

If you can help or provide expertise and/or have a passion for a specific topic, we would love to hear from you.

The areas of support we are seeking include –

• Finalising the Master Plan for Broomfield to include layout of pitches, car parking and pavilion etc.
• Project management to deliver the plan, including phasing of changes.
• Fund-raising programme to support the agreed investment plans.
• Bio-diversity programme including tree planting, wildlife corridors and pollinating plants.
