Syls Saturday Success: Hurling, Camogie, Football and London Adventures!

April 27, 2025 203 Views

From Bridgefield to London, Féile football to Go Games hurling — another brilliant weekend for our Syls stars across all codes and age groups. Here's the full round-up.

2017 Boys (U7 Hurling)
Our youngest Syls were in action this morning, showing off their hurling skills!
Three groups playing — hosting Trinity Gaels and Oliver Plunketts at home, and away to Castleknock. Great energy, great smiles, and some very proud coaches too!

2016 Boys (U8 Hurling)
The 2016 boys continued their brilliant form with strong hurling performances today.
Away to Scoil Uí Chonaill and Clontarf for some thrilling games, and then up against a tough Raheny side. Huge effort from all three squads!

2015 Girls (U9 Camogie)
Our 2015 girls made a stylish return after the Easter break — bringing the camogie magic!
They hosted St Brigid’s and travelled to O'Dwyer's, showing great lifting, sticking, and hand-passing skills. On fire once again — and yes, the famous photo pyramid lives on! 🔥

2014 Boys (U11 Hurling)
The U11 lads were on the move for Go Games hurling today.
Facing three Castleknock teams and two from Craobh Chiaráin, the boys had to dig deep with lower midterm numbers. They worked their socks off and came out strong! 💪

2013 Girls (U12 Football)
Big weekend for our 2013 girls!
49 Syls players travelled across the water to London for the first ever Ireland/London all-girls football blitz, hosted by TCG. A fantastic event and a brilliant foundation to build on for our U12 teams in the future. Syls abú! 💙💚

2012 Boys (U13A Hurling)
Our U13A hurlers put in a strong home performance at Bridgefield.
They faced Cuala in a grading game and came out on top with a composed and impressive display. Great to see the hard work paying off!
