The road to Féile 2025 began today for our 2010 boys, with three Syls teams taking to the field in their first-round matches. It was a day of highs and learning curves, as the boys got their first taste of competitive Féile action.

2010 T1 Start Féile with a Statement Win

Syls 2010 T1 set the tone for their Féile campaign with an emphatic victory over Thomas Davis in Tallaght, running out 6-7 to 2-8 winners. A strong performance across the pitch saw the lads take control of the game early on, showcasing their attacking firepower and defensive resilience. A great start, and they’ll look to build on this momentum in the next round.

2010 T2 Fall Just Short in Thriller Against St Anne’s

It was a real battle for our 2010 T2 team in a high-scoring affair against St Anne’s. Syls dominated the first half with an outstanding display, but the second half saw Anne’s come at them hard, making the most of the new Féile rules.

While the result didn’t go their way, the performance showed real character. Heads didn’t drop, and the boys kept pushing right until the final whistle. With a trip to St Vincent’s next Sunday, there’s everything still to play for, and the squad will take plenty of positives from today’s performance.

2010 T3 Face Tough Test Against Raheny

For our 2010 T3 side, it was a challenging outing against a well-drilled Raheny team. These Féile matches are all about learning and growing, and the boys showed great determination despite the result not going in their favor. They’ll take the experience into their next game as they continue to develop their skills and team play.

2017s Wrap Up Gormanston Hurling Tournament

While the 2010s kicked off their Féile journey, the 2017 boys concluded an incredible five-week experience at the Gormanston hurling tournament. Nearly 50 young Syls hurlers took part across the competition, gaining valuable match experience and showcasing their passion for the game.

It’s been fantastic to see so many young players involved, enjoying their hurling, and improving week after week. A brilliant effort from all involved! 💚💙
