When the sun goes down, Ireland "Lights Up"...
The highly anticipated Ireland Lights Up and Irish Life GAA Healthy Clubs Every Step Counts Challenge will return to clubs in January 2025, in partnership with Get Ireland Walking. In 2024, these initiatives saw nearly 1,000 clubs participate, with over 40,000 weekly participants logging their steps through the Irish Life MyLife app, making them Ireland's largest walking campaigns.
The aim of these programs is to inspire and encourage individuals, families, and communities across Ireland to embrace healthier lifestyles, get active, and enhance their overall physical and mental well-being. By participating in Ireland Lights Up and the Steps Challenge, you’ll be joining a movement that promotes health, connection, and fun.
This year, St. Sylvester's GAA invites you to join Ireland Lights Up every Wednesday evening from January 8th at 7:30 PM. The 5K walk will begin at St. Sylvester’s Clubhouse and take you through the scenic Malahide area.
