There is a video recording of the opening of St Sylvester’s GAA club by President Hillery on Church Road which was 40 years ago on 31st December 1984. There is no commentary with the video.
A preliminary showing of the video is organised for the St Nicolas room in the Parish Centre (beside St Sylvester’s church) at 7:30 pm, today, Tuesday 4th February 2025.
The video runs for 40 minutes and it captures an important event for the community of Malahide.
