This Easter weekend, the spirit of community, sport, and solidarity will come together for a powerful cause at Lucan Sarsfields GAA.

On Easter Bank Holiday Monday, 21st April, from 9am to 6pm, the club will host a unique and heartwarming event – Puck for Palestine – an U11 Hurling and Camogie Fundraiser Blitz with nearly 30 clubs taking part. Among the proud participants will be St Sylvester’s 2014 boys, who will swap chocolate eggs for sliotars as they take the pitch in support of children in Palestine. ⚾🥚

But this is more than just a blitz. It’s a statement of unity – showing that our games can go beyond the pitch and reach those who need it most. Every child taking part will receive a certificate and a branded GAA Palestine water bottle, a small but powerful symbol of their role in this bigger picture. 💧

And it’s not just about the hurling – there’ll be café treats, a food truck, live music, Brian Walsh Hurls, and even a raffle on the day. ☕️🍦🚚🎶⚾

Expect a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and compassion – all while standing together for something greater than sport. Let’s rally behind our young players and this fantastic cause.
