CCC Detail 2020 Adult & Minor Competitions

All 2020 Adult and Minor Football and Hurling League Competitions have been cancelled. Grading for 2020 Adult Leagues will carry forward to 2021.
- Draws made last February for all Adult Football Championships and for SHC A shall stand.
- Four groups of four teams. Top two teams from Each Group to advance to Quarter- Finals.
- In SHC B, IHC, and JHC A to E inclusive new draws are to be made later this week. There will be three groups of four teams in these championships. The top two teams in each group advance to Quarter-finals plus the two best 3rd placed teams.
- Best 3rd placed teams to be determined by the following in the order specified; 1. Most points. 2. Best score difference. 3. Highest score. 4. Least scores conceded.
- In JHC F and G there will be two groups of five teams. The top two teams in each group qualify for semi-finals. Draws to be made later this week.
- Knockout games in all football and hurling championships shall be “winner on the day” i.e. extra time and penalties shall be used if required. (Rules of specification 3.4 and 3.6 Official Guide, Book 2, 2019 refers).
- No Promotion or Relegation in any 2020 Championship. No Provincial or All Ireland Championships for senior, intermediate, or Junior Club Championship winners.
- In Round Robin SFC 1, SFC 2, and SHC A each team will have One Home Game, One Away Game, and One Neutral Venue Game. In other championships, teams will have two home games and one away or vice versa.
- Match schedules to be finalized by CCC as soon as possible.
- Grading for Minor Championships is taking place at the moment. Draws will take place when that is completed.
- The CCC will arrange round-robin type Cup competitions to commence as teams are eliminated from football and hurling Championships.
