Coach The Coach Workshops Mon 13th & 20th November

Coach The Coach Workshops Mon 13th & 20th November

Following extremely positive feedback, we are delighted to announce that Dave Mannix (DCU) is coming back to host a coach-the-coaches workshop to be held over 2 Monday sessions. The intention of the programme is to upskill coaches on best practice of Functional Movement with our players. These sessions are open to all mentors of boys and girls, in both hurling/camogie and football. The lessons we learn will be invaluable to us as we coach our young players to get the most out of themselves into the future.

U13 Girls Challenge v Raheny

Match Report: St Sylvesters v Raheny in St Anne's Park on Saturday 4 Nov at 13:30. The U13 Girls travelled to St Annes Park on a cold blustery and sunny Saturday afternoon. With the wind blowing across the small pitch scoring for both teams was difficult. Both teams showed rustiness after a break of 4 weeks with many turnovers by both sides. In an entertaining first half, the defences on both sides were on top. Raheny failed to convert a penalty late in the first half. This was a very even contest, with both sides level on 0-3 at half time.
