Report: Syls V St Judes IHC Round 3

Our hurlers clocked up an impressive win, qualifying for the Quarter Finals with a match still to play.
IHC:Rnd #3 St Judes 1-11 Syls 6-19
Tymon Park 19:00 Wed 2nd May 2018

6-19 from play is impressive any day, even if this was Judes 2nd team. Judes were 3 points to nil up after 6 mins playing with a substantial wind
and hill but once Fionn Carney banged in our first goal, Syls took command of proceeding and maintained a high paced, high scoring
tempo throughout. 3-6 to 0-4 at HT, and the trend continued in the 2nd half with Syls adding another 3-13 from play. 3rd successive win and 3rd successive high scoreline and little
conceded. A place is the quarter final is secured with 2 round still left to play.
