Syls Golf Outings 2016

We'd be delighted to encourage new members to join in the fun. The society is the official Sylvesters Club Society. So come out on April 9th to Beaverstown and support your Club's Golf Society Albert Baker Society Captain 2016

With the present weather that we are experiencing it is hard to get sufficient enthusiasm to put on the golf shoes and chase the little white ball. Hopefully the weather will improve and life can get back to normal.

The calendar of events is now finalised for the year and we hope you enjoy some golf with Syls Golf Society again this year.  Here is the schedule and we will update you in advance of each outing:

Annual Inter Club Golf Competition

The Annual Inter Club Golf Competition will be on 1st July this year and will include the following clubs. St Syls Golf Society, Malahide Cricket Club, Malahide Golf Club, Malahide United Soccer Club, Malahide Tennis Club and Malahide Rugby Club. If you are interested in representing the Golf Society please let us know.

Away Day:

Last year we had a very successful away day to Knightsbrook and we have decided to go back there again this year.  The above price includes tea/coffee and scones on arrival. Anyone interested in an over night please contact the Hotel directly. The rate for B&B is €75 per person sharing.

Once again this year we are running a raffle and we already have some nice prizes. If you know anyone that would kindly give us prizes please let us know. Tickets will be available during the year and will be €2 each or 3 for €5.

New Members:

The Golf Society is an important part of the Social side of GAA Club and we encourage as many as possible to play some golf with us this year. The strength of our Society is in the membership, therefore the more members we have the better the Society will be. If you are in a position to encourage former members or new members to join us, please do so.

We hope you have an enjoyable golf year.

Yours in golf,

Joe Coughlan
