Girls Match Reports -Sat 14th April

Instead of playing Feile this weekend, the St Sylvesters U14 girl's teams played league fixtures on a cold blustery Saturday afternoon in Broomfield. The Under 9s meanwhile had another great performance against St. Perrigrines in Broomfield. It was end to end play with some great teamwork, passing and impressive scores. St Perrigrines proved to be tough opposition but the Syls girls kept up their great play til the end.

Division 7

Syls v Ballyboden St Endas C

14 April 2018 @ 13:30 in Broomfield
The U14 Div 4 team played BBSE C at 13:30. The sun came out, but it was still cold and windy. St Sylvesters played against the wind and were under serious pressure from a strong and capable BBSE side. St Sylvesters battled strongly against the breeze and deserved the half time scoreline to be St Sylvesters 1-1 Ballyboden St Endas C 1-5.
With the wind at their backs, St Sylvesters dominated the second half. Both teams played some very good football and a very entertaining game insued. St Sylvesters showed great heart and determination to keep the BBSE girls to 1-1 for the second half. Two goals in the last 5 minutes settled this entertaining contest.
St Sylvesters 5-6 BBSE 3-6
