Inter Hurlers open with a draw at Vincents

AHL3 St Vincents 2-09 St Sylvesters 0-15 For the second week in a row we drew at PNU. A fair result I would say after a very good game. Vincents opened strongly ad threatened to blow us away leading 1-04 to 0-01 a couple of Ormonde frees steadied us, Alan, Kevin and Killian got to grips with the middle and Andrew up front and we were were three down at the break.

Alan Morris hit a wonderful point at the restart, Alan Kenny won a lot of ball on his debut after a long layoff and Fionn Carney similarly. We were back level after about five minutes, edged ahead with Andrew and Martin scores but a rare attack for Vincents yielded a goal and we had to pick it up again to gain the draw.
