Goal Difference Gives St Vincents Win in MFL1

Goal Difference Gives St Vincents Win in MFL1

Our Minor men lined out this morning at Broomfield to face St Vincent's in what was expected to be a challenging Division 1 match. Despite the halftime score which saw the visitors ahead by four points, it was a well-fought battle and it was all to play for in the second half. After the break a more determined Vincent's opened the scoring with a goal and despite some great points scored from frees that bring our lads close, a second goal conceded meant the goals were the difference by the full-time whistle.
