U9 hurlers blitzing in the Castle

St. Sylvester's U/9 squad held a very exciting Hurling Blitz in Malahide Castle this morning. Under blue skies and glorious sunshine the two young St. Sylvesters hurling squads posted some very impressive scores against local opponents Trinity Gaels and Clontarf. In their first set of matches against Clontarf, both of the St. Sylvester's teams won 11 - 10 and 21 - 19 respectively, in hard fought battles

In the sub sequent matches against Trinity Gaels both teams again came out on top. A huge well done to all on the squads today and to their incredibly hard working hurling coaches Donal and Derek . The mix of good weather, support on the sidelines from parents and team mates alike and the customary blitz treats at the end, all made for a fantastic morning at the Castle. Well done St. Sylvesters!
