The under 12's had a tremendous win in St Pat's Donabate tournament today. Well done to all the lads for an outstanding year, remaining in division 1, winners in Ardra and winners in Donabate. Looking forward to next season.
We had another great week of hurling in Broomfield with sixty five young energetic St Sylvesters hurlers taking part. Two Dublin hurlers Chris Crummy (Lucan Sarsfield) and Darragh O’Connell (Cuala) demonstrated the skills and tactics of the game. They were both very impressed with the skill level of our players and also with their willingness to listen and learn.
I see a tweet that the U12s won the Herron Cup over the weekend at Ardara. Mick promised pictures so stay tuned.
Last Thursday, Scoil an Duinnínigh fielded it's first hurling team after a long absence, some suggested a 20 years gap since the last hurling team. 21 players togged out, with many boys and their families experiencing a hurling game for the first time.

Yes it's that time of year again, the now famous Malahide Mini All Irelands for 5 to 11 year old boys and girls. All children are welcome so get the word out, it's a great event for the children, adults and grandparents and the Finals Day is definitely not to be missed.
The U8s looked like they had been at it for years when they faced an equally well prepared Nmh Marnog at Portmarnock early Saturday morning.Conditions were pretty wet but the boys were not fazed. A highlight for me was seeing retired senior footballer and Inter Manager of the past three years Derek Roche coaching one of our teams. I must get a proper writeup - the boys looked great.
